InVideo AI: from one sentence to a finished social clip
One prompt, one platform choice, and out comes a video with script, voiceover, footage, captions and music. The fastest route for beginners, with clear limits.

This article is an overview based on vendor information and publicly available reporting, not a scored test of our own. Prices and features change particularly fast in this field; the vendor's own terms always take precedence. The tools we have used ourselves for weeks are scored in the AI video generators & voice AI category.
The approach: everything in one pass
InVideo AI turns a description into a complete video: it writes a script, finds matching footage, lays a voiceover over it, adds captions and music. You choose the target format first, vertical for Reels or Shorts, for instance.
That sets it apart from pure generators: nothing is conjured from nothing. What emerges is a montage of stock material and synthetic speech, which you then refine by instruction.
For the paid plans the vendor states around 28 US dollars a month for the middle tier and about 50 for the top one, with support for more than 50 languages.
Where it works well
On formats made of information plus a visual bed: explainers, summaries, short news, simple product introductions. If you have never edited a video, this gets you to something presentable fastest.
The time saving lies less in generating than in not having to hunt for material. In practice that is where most hours go.
It pays to sharpen the script separately first, with ChatGPT for example, and leave only the execution to InVideo. The scripts the tool writes itself are usable but rarely pointed.
Limits
The visual language stays that of stock footage: interchangeable, often generic. For brands with a look of their own that is not enough; then the route runs through your own footage or generative models as in our portraits of Kling and Seedance.
The voices are decent but do not reach the level of ElevenLabs. And as with any tool built on stock material, check the licence terms for the clips used before you run advertising with them.
In short: the fastest route from idea to social clip, if generic visuals are acceptable. Sharpen the script separately.

We test AI tools on real work, with accounts we pay for ourselves, and write down what comes out of it, even when that is unspectacular. [Setup note: replace with the real author.]
