Claude is the assistant for people who work with text rather than play with it. Its very large context window lets you analyse long contracts, studies or codebases in one pass without splitting them up first, a difference that shows up in daily work far more clearly than most benchmark results.
In terms of language, Claude produced the cleanest German output of the assistants we tested: few stock phrases, clear structure, usable paragraphs. It also belongs to the leading group for coding and can be wired directly into projects through the command line variant Claude Code.
Anyone expecting a do-everything tool will be disappointed: Claude generates no images, and the range of extras is deliberately narrower. In exchange, its data protection position is one of the better ones in this field: inputs do not flow into training without explicit consent.
